It's a shame I was at a Christmas picnic. I would've loved to see Rydah in it's final moments.

Everyone is gonna miss Rydah. They had a lot of memories and friends there and Nexon just took them all away (or they tried anyway).

Well, Nexon's methods are...interesting in a way. I'm sure they know that a few more private servers will pop up every time you take one down, however, they won't be as good...so...debatable.

Nexon actually has a list of private servers and are able to DMCA any of them whenever they want; that they choose not to is pretty surprising.

Nexon probably has some of their staff to play these private servers to see what kind of material the players like. Knowing Nexon though, they probably fail at interpreting what the players like. Seems like a somewhat smart option for them.
