Timeless weapons.

One way or another I'll be implementing timeless weapons into the server. My question is however.. do you want to buy them with currency (still undecided as to what the currency will be) or do you want them to drop from monsters that have a low chance of giving them?

Is it random Stats either way? Personally I reckon buy seeing as some people spend heaps of time grinding and such and could find a few in their time. I don't know enough to be too sure but that's just my opinion

In my opinion, I think the players should have to buy them. Grinding to get -insert currency here- to buy -insert random timeless weapon-would be kind of pointless if you could get said timeless from grinding in the first place. It makes the players work for their equips and in the end, they'll appreciate it more because they had to work to get it. This is my take on it, take it and/or leave it. <3

I'd like:
Monster drops Gach ticket.
Player redeems Gach ticket, gains some random ETC.
Player trades ETC at an NPC for Timeless w/ random stats from 160~255 WA.

Random being...? A defined item that we haven't chosen?
Also, does that item(s) account for how high the WA is? Or would it be random anyhow?

Yes, an existing but unused item. (e.g. Tetris Piece?

Possibly like, if this idea is accepted, 6% Blue Tetris, 2% Red Tetris, 1% Light Blue Tetris, 0.5% Yellow Tetris, 0.1% Purple Tetris, 0.05% Green Tetris?
Then stats vary accordingly, i.e. Blue > 160~190, Red > 175~200, Light Blue > 180~205, Yellow > 190~220, Purple > 205~240, Green > 220~255?

Sounds good to me. The other items in the Gachapon will balance out the low rate of the tetris pieces. Make timeless/reverse drop from boss monsters at a very low rate : D and if they Q_Q or give up...they'll have to buy one from the NPC!

I say that Timeless can be found in Gachapon at a semi-low rate, but also drops from certain bosses.
